Sometimes, more is more!

The other day, at my day-job, I learned that it takes way more time to complete an internal coaching program we provide.

Our hypothesis was that after 9 months or so, people will be ready to continue the journey by themselves. However, after gathering some data, we realized we need to invest, at least, triple that time.

In a world where busyness is the norm, and being fast the holly grail, there's always that pressure to reduce our lead times. But doing so just because might put in danger deeper, meaningful outcomes (In our case, helping people hone in their ability to achieve what they set out to do).

Based on what we have learned, we adjusted our program for a longer timeframe. That, in turn, reduced some anxiety we were experiencing, and help us embrace the fact, that sometimes, it is ok to give processes time, and to give ourselves time to process things.
